Subject: Remove References to Obsolete ICD Fields

Description:
============

 In October 2003, certain fields in the VistA ICD Diagnosis, ICD 
 Procedures, CPT, and CPT Modifier standard tables were identified as 
 obsolete and to be replaced with newer data elements implementing data 
 versioning in these tables.  Under the Code Set Versioning Project, the
 code names, descriptions, inactive flags and dates were replaced by
 versioned data elements, each with an effective date of use.
  
 A thorough review of the Spinal Cord Dysfunction (v2) package
 has been completed.  This patch removes all references to the obsolete
 fields in the ICD Diagnosis file (#80).  It has been determined that there
 are no references to the obsolete fields in the 3 other affected code files
 mentioned above.
 
 The modifications made by this patch affect only two reports, replacing 
 references to the obsolete, un-versioned DIAGNOSIS field (#3) of the
 ICD Diagnosis file (#80) with the versioned form of that field provided by
 the supported $$ICDDX^ICDCODE API. The two modified report options are
 SCI/SCD Discharges [SPN PRINT DISCHARGE] and SCI/SCD Admissions
 [SPN PRINT ADMISSIONS].

 Installation Instructions
 ===================
   1. Users ARE allowed to be on the system during the installation. 
  
   2. You DO NOT need to stop TaskMan or the background filers.
  
   3. Use the 'INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE' option on the PackMan menu. This
      option will load the KIDS package onto your system.
  
   4.  This patch is now loaded into a transport global on your system.
       The next step is to use KIDS to install the Transport global.  On
       the KIDS menu, under the 'Installation' menu, use the following
       options:
  
           Verify Checksums in Transport Global
  
           Print Transport Global 
  
           Compare Transport Global to Current System 
  
           Backup a Transport Global
  
           Install Package(s) 
  
   5. Accept the defaults for the following install questions:  
  
    a. When prompted 'Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon 
      Completion of Install? YES//' answer NO
   
    b. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the 
       install?  NO//' answer NO 
    
  6. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu 
     Options, and Protocols? NO//' answer YES
     
     These options should be disabled:
   
       SCI/SCD Discharges [SPN PRINT DISCHARGE] 
       SCI/SCD Admissions [SPN PRINT ADMISSIONS].
  
  7. The installation should complete in less than one minute.
