The software components consists of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) - JAVA build, Care Management 1.8.0, and the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) build, ORRC*1*8. The patch ORRC*1*8 ensures sure that the Care Management application can be launched with any version beyond JRE1.6 (32 bit). It also enhances the functionality of the Care Management application by supporting the coexistence of the Clinician and the Nursing Dashboard. It addresses the issues related to JRE and saving of future tasks in the Clinician and the Nursing Dashboard. It will synchronize the VistA server and Care Management GUI version. INC000000137195 - Go To Chart Issues Problem: -------- There were times when tabs would become locked/"frozen" after accessing Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) via the Care Management(CM) - Go To Chart Link and the displayed tab was unexpected. Resolution: ----------- Recompiled the CM code using Java 1.6+ version and issue seems to resolved itself. There is no locking/"freezing" behavior when running under Java 1.6+ version. 2. INC000000138203 - Future Tasks Problem: -------- Future tasks did not display for users per the Care Management - Tasks Column. Resolution: ----------- Modified CM Java files to comply with Java 1.6 code and saving of task functionality works as intended. 3. INC000000189875 - Error on Go to Chart Problem: -------- An error, "ERROR+33^XOBVLL", was produced in the error trap when users click on the 'go to chart' link. Resolution: ----------- Recompiled the CM code using Java 1.6+ versions and issue seems to resolved itself. Errors are not experiences when clicked on the "Go to Chart" link while running the application under Java 1.6+ version (32 bit). 4. INC000000204620 - question about patch ORRC*1*7 Duplicates: ----------- INC000000205669, INC000000218015, INC000000713102, INC000001049008 Problem: -------- Questions and concerns pertaining to the Care Management application operating within an insecure JAVA Runtime Environment (JRE). Resolution: ----------- Recompiled the CM code using Java 1.6+ (32 bit) version. 5. INC000000929785 - Install Guide needs updating & New AutoInstaller Problem: -------- Care Management documentation needed to be updated to accurately reflect Care Management development. Resolution: ----------- Updated the install guide to reflect the new changes in Care Management version 1.8. This is a centralized server promotion. The VistA patch component (ORRC*1*8) can be loaded with active VistA users, but it is recommended that it be installed when user activity is low. Installation time will be less than 3 minutes. 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch and invoke the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option. 2. Start up the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu [XPD MAIN]: Edits and Distribution ... Utilities ... Installation ... Select Kernel Installation & Distribution System Option:Installation --- 1 Load a Distribution 2 Verify Checksums in Transport Global 3 Print Transport Global 4 Compare Transport Global to Current System 5 Backup a Transport Global 6 Install Package(s) Restart Install of Package(s) Unload a Distribution 3. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options (When prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter ORRC*1.0*8): a. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as Data Dictionary(DD)'s or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch (routines, DD's, templates, etc.). c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package ORRC*1.0*8. a. When prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//", answer NO. b. When prompted "Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options and Menu Options and Protocols? NO//", answer NO. Post-Installation Instructions ------------------------------ The post-installation routine POST^ORRCY08 will run automatically. This routine maintains the Care Management version number (1.8.0) as synchronized with the GUI version being installed as part of ORRC*1*8. "Care Management Dashboard 1.8.0" will display when this post routine has completed properly. There is a Client/Server Compatibility Check when users start-up the Care Management GUI. No error will display when VistA patch ORRC*1*8 has installed correctly. Routine ORRCY08 may be deleted after ORRC*1*8 has installed correctly; deletion of that post routine will not affect Care Management 1.8.0 performance. *****Additional setup is required, please read the Care Management Installation Guide.***** The Care Management software package requires three separate installation procedures: one for installing M-specific components on your M server, one for installing Java components on the HealtheVet Desktop/Care Management users' workstations and another for changing the settings file to reflect the site's Vista connection.
