Subject: ADD NPI TO PROVIDER INFORMATION IN CPRS

Category:
  - Routine
  - Other

Description:
============

 1. This patch provides the National Provider Identifier (NPI) information
in the provider selection lists in the Computerized Patient Record System
(CPRS). The NPI information must be present in the NEW PERSON file (#200)
and the selection list must provide hover hint capability for this to
 function.

The NPI information will be displayed appended to the user's
name/title/service in the following form: [NPI: 1234567890]

 2. In CPRS v32, additional updates will be made to the screening of the
provider list shown in certain provider selection lists. The Non-VA
providers currently being imported as part of the Community Care program
will be excluded from certain options. In preparation for that, this
patch provides a new 'CPRS TAB' which will be used to identify these
Non-VA providers. The tab, labeled NVA will be exported to the OR CPRS
 TABS file (#101.13).

 minutes to install.

 Installation Instructions:

 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this build. Then select
the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option to load the build.

 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu,
select the Installation Menu. From this menu,

immediately before this step. It will only
bring up the last patch in the build.

While this patch contains data, the data can continue to reside on
the system with no adverse impact. If you do wish to remove the new
