It will return the same value when invoked on the BackEnd or on the FrontEnd of the same Cache' system. This patch alos corrects an issue with Domain Name Service(DNS) lookups on systems running InterSystems IRIS. VistA instances which have transistioned to InterSystems' IRIS are unable to resolve the IP addresses of domain names, for instance www.domain.ext could not be reconciled because the code which checks the M platform only accounts for Cache, which causes a logic flow change, the result is an unusable value and the calling process fails. VA is in the process of moving from InterSystems Cache to InterSystems IRIS and this anomaly was discovered at the first converted site, at the New Orelans VAMC. Remote users of the CAPRI application were unable to use the RPC Broker Broker Security Enhancement (BSE) feature to connect to New Orleans because of the issue described. This patch addresses this by adding a check to the name resolution code.
