A spelling error is displayed on the "Outpatient Visits" tab of the Check-In New Study screen. 2. An error occurs when navigating to Options > Home in the Clinical Procedures User help file. 3. The cursor/focus is not in the "Select patient:" location when the Patient Lookup screen is loaded. 4. When switching patients via the Patient lookup option, previous search information is displayed when the Patient Lookup screen is loaded. 5. When switching patients via the Clinic, Team or Ward lookup options, previous search information is displayed when the Patient Lookup screen is loaded and the cursor/focus is not in the "Select Clinic/Team/Ward:" text box. INC5197946 - CP User GUI Spelling Error Problem: -------- In CP User, when navigating to File > Check-In New Study, the screen includes a tab for "Outpatient Visits". The spelling is incorrect (missing the letter 't'); instead, "Oupatient Visits" is displayed. Resolution: ----------- The missing 't' has been added to correct the spelling. 2. INC6247495 - Help file Issue CP User Problem: -------- In CP User, when selecting Home from the Options menu in the Clinical Procedures User help file, an error ("This page can't be displayed") occurs due to there being no Home link defined in the file. Resolution: ----------- The valid Home link has been defined in the .CHM file. 3. INC6050047 - CP User GUI - Cursor not positioned in the "Select patient:" location when the box opens to select a patient Problem: -------- When selecting a patient in CP User, the cursor is not automatically positioned in the "Select patient:" location; instead, the user must manually click in the text box before he or she can type a patient's name. This applies to when the user first opens a patient and when the user changes patients in the same session. In other words, when the patient selection screen is loaded, the cursor/focus is not in the "Enter Patient Name or Last Initial and Last 4 of SSN:" text box. Resolution: ----------- The form has been updated so that when it is loaded, the cursor is positioned in the "Enter Patient Name or Last Initial and Last 4 of SSN:" text box ready for typing. 4. INC6053290 - CP User GUI - Switching patients need a clear box to allow user to enter fresh patient information Problem: -------- When switching patients via the patient lookup option in CP User, the Patient Lookup screen displays the information for the patient that was selected before. In other words, when the patient selection screen is loaded, if a previous search was completed, the information is not cleared from the text entry box nor the display list. Resolution: ----------- The form has been updated so that when it is loaded, any previous search information (including patient text and/or list results) is cleared. 5. INC6547848 - Patient lookup options (Clinic, Team and Ward) need to match the lookup option for Patient Problem: -------- When switching patients via the Clinic, Team or Ward lookup options in CP User, the Patient Lookup screen displays the information for the previous search/selection. In other words, when the patient selection screen is loaded, if a previous search was completed, the information is not cleared from the text entry box nor the display lists. Also, the cursor is not automatically positioned in the "Select Clinic:/Team:/Ward:" text box. Resolution: ----------- The form has been updated so that when it is loaded, any previous search information (including clinic, team or ward text, selections and/or list results) is cleared, and the cursor is positioned in the "Select Clinic:/Team:/Ward:" text box ready for typing. Post-installation routine MDPOST71 is provided to update Clinical Procedures with the expected version number and CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) information for CP User. Pre-Installation Instructions: ------------------------------ Clinical Procedures users should be off the system when this patch is installed. This patch should be installed during non-peak hours. Installation will take less than 5 minutes. Installation Instructions: -------------------------- 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch. 2. Choose the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option to load the KIDS patch into a Transport Global on your system. 3. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System Menu (KIDS), select the Installation Menu. 4. From the Installation Menu, select the Backup a Transport Global option and when prompted for the INSTALL NAME enter the patch MD*1.0*71. This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as DDs or templates. 5. From the Installation Menu, you may elect to use the following options. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME enter the patch MD*1.0*71. a. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. b. Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to print only a summary of the patch, to print a summary of the patch and the routines in the transport global, or to print only the routines in the transport global. c. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. (It compares all components of this patch's routines, DDs, templates, etc.). 6. From the Installation Menu, select the Install Package(s) option and enter the patch MD*1.0*71. 7. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//', respond 'NO'. 8. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? NO//', respond 'NO'. Back-out/Rollback Strategy: --------------------------- In the event of a catastrophic failure, the Facility CIO may make the decision to back-out the patch.
