Clinical and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) community care staff located at VA medical centers (VAMCs), outpatient clinics, community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs), and Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) offices use this solution to enhance Veteran access to care. HSRM is an integral component of the community care information technology (IT) architecture that allows Veterans to receive care from community providers. This patch adds functionality for a user to edit referring site id by adding a comment to the consult using CPRS. To edit the referring site id users edit the consult using the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) and enter a comment line with EDIT REFERRING FACILITY: and add the division id after the colon and space. This patch adds code to prevent an update from being sent to HSRM when the consult update is for an appointment being scheduled. These updates are not needed by HSRM. This field is populated when a consult is first entered or first edited after patch GMRC*3.0*158 is installed. The problem is the field is being edited when an appointment for the consult is scheduled. If the new field is null, the scheduling activity enters the division id of the person who scheduled the Health Level 7 (HL7) incoming filers to run. Resolution: ----------- This patch prevents the new field from being populated by the scheduling actions. Test Sites: ---------- Lebanon, PA Togus, ME Ft.
