New Service Requests (NSRs): N/A Patient Safety Issues (PSIs): HITPS 6738 - INC6223578 : Provider able to enter radiology order with conflicting desired date and "start' date Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: 1. INC5818599 Clinically indicated date is changing when using T+12m function Duplicates ---------- 1. INC6223578 NORTHPORT - Provider able to enter radiology order with conflicting desired date and "start' date 2. INC8517622 VAMCASH- VHAASHSmallM -Date Format for Imaging Order Not Displaying Correct 3. INC9696686 VistA 'Date Desired' does not match CPRS 'Date Desired' using "+6m" Problem: -------- A provider will enter the DATE DESIRED of radiology order in the T+XXM or +XXM format. It is saved to the order file in that format without converting it to a date like the Radiology package does. When the order is reviewed at a later date it will appear either as the T+XXM format or converted to a date, using the current to calculate its value. This will not match the DATE DESIRED in the Radiology package. Resolution: ----------- The routine ORMBLDRA has been modified to check the order's START DATE. If it is in the T+XXM or +XXM format; convert the order's START DATE to a VA FILEMAN formatted date when the provider signs the order. The routine ORWDXM1 has been modified to check the order's START DATE. If it is in the T+XXM or +XXM format; delete the value from the selected radiology order being copied to a new radiology order.
