If a user elects to produce an XML Export by location, validation is not referencing the correct location file. 2. The user is not allowed to exit the option gracefully by entering "^" or enter at various prompts. 3. An error will occur if the user enters an undefined patient name. Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: =========================================== INC14492038: Incorrect User Input Validations for XML Output Issue: ----- If a user elects to produce an XML Export by location, the validation for user input is referencing the WARD LOCATION (#42) file instead of the HOSPITAL LOCATION (#44) file. This results in a non-functional report by location since the report retrieves information based on the HOSPITAL LOCATION (#44) file. Also, various other issues exist in the XML Export option such as the user not being allowed to exit gracefully and an error occurring if the user enters an undefined patient name. Resolution: ---------- Modify routine YTQAPI15 to validate user input for location against the HOSPITAL LOCATION (#44) file instead of the WARD LOCATION (#42) file. Also, allow the user to exit gracefully from the option and prevent an error if the user enters an undefined patient name. Back-out/Roll Back Plan: ----------------------- Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. The back-out plan is to restore the routines from the backup created. No data was modified by this patch installation and, therefore, no rollback strategy is required. Validation of Back-out Procedure: -------------------------------- The Back-out Procedure can be verified by printing the first 2 lines of the routines contained in this patch using the option First Line Routine Print [XU FIRST LINE PRINT]. Once the routines contained in this patch have been backed out, the first two lines of the routines will no longer contain the designation of this patch in the patch list section on line 2. Routine Information: ==================== The second line of each of these routines now looks like: ;;5.01;MENTAL HEALTH;**[Patch List]**;Dec 30, 1994;Build 3 The checksums below are new checksums, and can be checked with CHECK1^XTSUMBLD.
