$TXT Created by at MNTVBB.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Monday, 04/12/21 at 08:29 ============================================================================= Run Date: JUN 30, 2021 Designation: HBH*1*33 Package : HBH - HOME BASED PRIMARY CARE Priority: Mandatory Version : 1 SEQ #28 Status: Released Compliance Date: JUL 30, 2021 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)HBH*1*24 <<= must be installed BEFORE `HBH*1*33' Subject: HBHC RATE PAID REPORT UNDEFINED ERROR Category: - Routine Description: ============ The patch addresses one (1) issue: 1. An error may occur when running the Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) Medical Foster Home (MFH) Rate Paid Report in the Home Based Health Care (HBHC) application in VistA. The report may error out when using the Active or All patient selections when listing Current or All rates paid. Associated NSR(s): ------------------ N/A Associated ticket(s): ===================== 1. INC16572256 - HBH Rate Paid Report Error Participating Test Sites: ========================= Battle Creek VA Medical Center, (Battle Creek, MI) Tomah VA Medical Center, (Tomah, WI) Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: ============================================ 1. INC16572256 - HBH Rate Paid Report Error Problem 1: ---------- The report code does not consider that under certain circumstances, the RATE PAID multiple (#631.01) field in the HBHC PATIENT FILE (#631) can exist even when there are no entries stored. When the report code attempts to list a patient with a multiple with zero entries, the report errors out with an UNDEFINED error in routine ^HBHCUTL5. Resolution: ----------- The routine ^HBHCUTL5 is modified to recognize when there are no entries in the RATE PAID multiple (#631.01) field, the RATE PAID is represented as "0.00", and if there is no START DATE, the date is represented as "00-00-00" on the report. ************************************************************************* * IMPORTANT NOTE * * During testing, it was observed that incomplete data entry can cause * * unexpected results with various reports. * * * * For example: when a patient is entered in the HBHC PATIENT FILE * * (#631) with the MEDICAL FOSTER HOME PATIENT field (#88) set to YES, * * a valid MEDICAL FOSTER HOME NAME in field (#89) should always be * * entered, even though the field is not required to continue. * * * * For example: in this Evaluation/Admission Data Entry option [HBHCADM]* * session, the entry should be complete with the foster home name: * * * * PATIENT DATE: T (MAR 04, 2021) * * MEDICAL FOSTER HOME PATIENT: Y Yes * * MEDICAL FOSTER HOME NAME: HBPC TEST FOSTER HOME * * * ************************************************************************* Installation Instructions: ========================== The install time for this patch is less than 2 minutes.
