============================================================================= Run Date: NOV 03, 2021 Designation: OR*3*559 Package : OR - ORDER ENTRY/RESULTS REPORTING Priority: Mandatory Version : 3 SEQ #483 Status: Released Compliance Date: DEC 04, 2021 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)OR*3*501 <<= must be installed BEFORE `OR*3*559' (v)OR*3*523 <<= must be installed BEFORE `OR*3*559' Subject: ADD ORAM AS AN ADDITIONAL PREFIX IN THE PACKAGE FILE FOR ORDER ENTRY Category: - Routine - Other Description: ============ General Overview: ----------------- PX*1.0*211, part of PCE STANDARDIZATION 1.0, corrected a package validation bug in the DATA2PCE API. After it was released and installed in production accounts some sites using the Anticoagulation Management Program (AMP) GUI noticed that AMP encounters were not being created. The cause of this was traced to the value of the PKG parameter being passed to DATA2PCE. It is "ORAM" and ORAM had never been added as an Additional Prefix in the Package file entry for ORDER ENTRY/RESULTS REPORTING, consequently the package validation was failing, and the encounter not created. This patch fixes the problem by adding ORAM as an Additional Prefix. When an AMT encounter was created, none of the diagnoses were being marked as primary. This was traced to a bug in DATA2PCE where, when "P" was used to mark a diagnosis as primary it was not recognized. This is corrected by patch PX*1*228. PX*1.0*211 added some new DATA2PCE returns values and ORWPCE1 was not interpreting them correctly, sometimes causing an inpatient encounter to not be linked to the note. This is corrected. Because both OR*3.0*559 and PX*1.0*228 are required to correct the identified problems, they are being distributed in the multi-package build: OR INPATIENT AND AMT ENCOUNTER FIXES 1.0.
