Description:

 This patch is for the Emergency Department Integration Software (EDIS)
 Java graphic user interface (GUI). After release, the EDIS GUI/Web Server 
 version will be 2.2.44.
  
 Patch EDP*2.0*22 addresses the following defect:
  
 1. INC22435020 - EDIS updating VistA PATIENT file (#2) with incorrect 
    phone number

 Problem:
 --------
 After selecting a patient within the Clinical Practice Environment (CPE)
 and viewing their information in the Patient Demographics pop-up window,
 the phone number fields (Home Phone & Cell Phone and sometimes Next of Kin
 Phone) are displayed as editable text boxes instead of non-editable labels
 like the rest of the fields in the pop-up. These editable fields are
 vulnerable at sites when multiple users are logged into EDIS and updating
 patient information because the system is sometimes changing patient phone
 numbers to that of other patients. Then, when the "Ok" button is clicked
 to close the pop-up window, those incorrect phone numbers are being saved
 in the VistA PATIENT file (#2). This results in lost and improper attempts
 at VA -> patient communication.
  
 Technical Problem:
 ------------------
 The JavaServer Faces (JSF) framework is not able to clear the cache while
 multiple users are updating the field at one time.
  
 Resolution:
 -----------
 This patch will make the Patient Demographics phone number fields read-
 only.
