There are other issues logged in Service Now tickets: INC24950855 & INC25766278. These issues involve VA FileMan V22.2. It was decided by the VA FileMan sustainment team that the FM lookup code would not be patched to fix this issue. The risk-reward ratio was just too high. The new, cleaner RIS screen, will lower the probability of these types of errors occurring. Resolution: 1 ------------- Get the entire technologist lookup screen out of data dictionary nodes. Developing a function, called from the data dictionary input transform, is the correct way to handle this issue. Problem: 2 ---------- The 'Synch Completed Exams with CPRS & RIS Orders' option has been updated to present to the user completed and canceled exams which are tied to active CPRS orders. Resolution: 2 ------------- The 'Synch Completed Exams with CPRS & RIS Orders' [RA COMPLETED EXAM ORDER SYNCH] option text and name will be updated to: 'Synch Exams with CPRS & RIS Orders' [RA EXAM ORDER SYNCH]. The newly named 'Synch Completed Exams with CPRS & RIS Orders' option has been updated to present to the user for synchronization both completed and canceled exams which are tied to active CPRS orders. Problem: 3 ---------- The National Radiology Program Office (NRPO) has stated that the following RIS options be set out of order and removed from their parent menus: 1) 'Purge Data Function' [RA PURGE] Parent Menu: 'IRM Menu' [RA SITEMANAGER] 2) 'Indicate No Purging of an Exam/report' [RA NOPURGE] Parent Menu: 'Exam Entry/Edit Menu' [RA EXAMEDIT] Resolution: 3 ------------- After RA*5.0*198 is installed the options: 'Purge Data Function' & 'Indicate No Purging of an Exam/report' will be set out of order and removed from their parent menus. Post-Installation Instructions: ------------------------------- N/A Back-Out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. A national help desk ticket should be logged before attempting any backout procedures. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. If the new backup build option was used, after Xtracting the patch message use the KIDS Installation menu and enter RA*5.0*198b at the INSTALL NAME prompt. The back-out plan is to restore the routines from the backup created. No data was modified by this patch installation and, therefore, no rollback strategy is required. Validation of Back-out Procedure: --------------------------------- The Back-out Procedure can be verified by printing the first two lines of the routines contained in this patch using the option First Line Routine Print [XU FIRST LINE PRINT]. Once the routines contained in the RA*5.0*198 patch have been backed out, the first two lines of the routines will no longer contain the designation of this patch in the patch list section on the second line. Routine Information: ==================== The second line of each of these routines now looks like: ;;5.0;Radiology/Nuclear Medicine;**[Patch List]**;Mar 16, 1998;Build 1 The checksums below are new checksums, and can be checked with CHECK1^XTSUMBLD.
