Subject: REVERT ORMPS2

Category:
  - Routine

Description:
============

The purpose of this patch is to revert the routine ORMPS2 to its
pre-OR*3.0*577 state. A problem was identified with the changes to this
routine in OR*3.0*577. However, OR*3.0*577 also contained two other
defect repairs. In order to allow those changes to proceed, this patch
 will revert ORMPS2 only.

Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview:

 1. INC26970050 - CPRS Issue with Comments on Inpatient Pharmacy Orders
INC26969615 - Issue with Comments on Inpatient Orders
INC26967582 - National CPRS issue orders not reading comments correctly
                  on Orders tab
INC26967783 - Edited Comments do not Display Throughout CPRS

 Problem:
 --------
For Inpatient Medication orders, comments entered by the pharmacist during
pharmacy verification in VistA, do NOT show in the Computerized Patient
Record System (CPRS) on the Orders tab or in the detailed display for an
order. Any provider comments entered do show.

 Resolution:
 -----------
The problem is related to a modification made in OR*3.0*577 to correct
other issues with the processing of order updates from Pharmacy. Since
that patch contained other defect repairs that need to remain in place,
this patch (OR*3.0*602) will revert the changes that are impacting
comments to the pre-OR*3.0*577 state. A future patch will correct the
defect repairs slated for OR*3.0*577 related to comments.

be a necessity to back it out. However, if that is necessary, restoring
the backup created above will restore the single routine to its previous
 state.
