Sacramento, CA VA Medical Center (CA) Problem 1: ---------- LOINC was never implemented in the VistA Radiology/Nuclear Medicine v5.0 application. LOINC prompts can be asked when users add or edit a procedure when using the 'Procedure Enter/Edit' [RA PROCEDURE] option. These LOINC prompts served no purpose. It was decided to bypass them when exercising the option. Resolution: ----------- LOINC specific prompts and display text shown to the user when exercising the 'Procedure Enter/Edit' [RA PROCEDURE] option have been bypassed. In the event LOINC functionality is resurrected, LOINC specific prompts can be restored.
