Failure to comply with the installation will ** ** cause delays in extracting and reporting data. ** *********************************************************************** This patch contains the DSS requirements for Fiscal Year 2025. Includes fixes to the Treating Specialty Change (TRT) extract to display Discharge Time as 000000 when empty, and to log in a Mailman message erroneous records that would otherwise cause a hard error. The Prosthetics YTD HCPCS report has been modified to add the National Prosthetics Product Database (NPPD) code to the export format, and the SUR Feeder Key Report has been modified to include 'Organ' codes. Also includes modifications to the Clinics and DSS Stop Codes Print report to only output data in export format. This patch also adds a new option to Stop a Task that is Running or Queued to provide users with the ability to kill misbehaving or undesirable extracts. The IVP Unusual Cost and Unusual Volume Reports have been updated to use the IV EXTRACT DATA (#728.113) file as the source for the Dispense Unit instead of the Pharmacy API it had been calling, and the IVP Extract logic has been updated to do the same when building the extract for transmission. The Summary Report of Extract Logs and CBOC Activity Report have been modified to indicate the end month for the CLI Extract instead of the start month. This patch also includes new reports: the IV Holding File Report, to allow users to view what is currently being stored in the IV EXTRACT DATA (#728.113) file; the Treating Specialty Report, to allow users to view the status of the Specialty (#42.4) File as of a given date; the Diagnosis Related Group Report, to allow users to view the status of the DRG (#80.2) File; and the MAS Movement Type Report, to allow users to view a list of available MAS Movement Types. It will only bring up the last patch in the build. B. Select the Backup a Transport Global option to create a backup message. You must use this option and specify what to backup; the entire Build or just Routines. The backup message can be used to restore the routines and components of the build to the pre-patch condition. i. At the Installation option menu, select Backup a Transport Global ii. At the Select INSTALL NAME prompt, enter your build ECX*3.0*190 iii. When prompted for the following, enter "R" for Routines or "B" for Build. It compares all of the components of this patch, such as routines, DDs, templates, etc. D. Select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch to install. i. If prompted 'Want KIDS to Rebuild Menu Trees Upon Completion of Install? NO//', answer NO. ii. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? NO//', answer NO. iii. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? NO//', answer NO. Post-Installation Instructions: Back-Out/Roll Back Plan: ------------------------ Back-out will be done only with the concurrence and participation of development team and appropriate VA site/region personnel, as there are a few items that will require manual backout. The decision to back-out or rollback software will be a joint decision between development team, VA site/region personnel and other appropriate VA personnel. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed-up routines onto the VistA System. No data was modified by this patch installation and, therefore, no rollback strategy is required.
