The issue occurs when all dosages for a drug are marked or unmarked. Resolution: ----------- Modify routine PSSGIU to call EN2^PSSHL1 which will update the ORDERABLE ITEMS (#101.43) file. Also, MARk/Unmark Dispense Drugs For Unit Dose [PSSJU MARK UD ITEMS] option is modified to call routine PSSGIU instead of PSGFILD3. This change was made because the option is PSS name spaced and should call a PSS name spaced routine. FileMan Display from the OPTION (#19) file: ------------------------------------------ NAME: PSSJU MARK UD ITEMS MENU TEXT: MARk/Unmark Dispense Drugs For Unit Dose TYPE: run routine CREATOR: xxxx, xxxx DESCRIPTION: This allows users to easily mark or unmark items from the Drug file (#50) for use by the Unit Dose Medications package. Only those items marked for Unit Dose are selectable for Unit Dose orders. When the Inpatient Medications package is first installed, it marks all items in the Drug file for use by Unit Dose so that users may immediately continue to use the package. This can be used to unmark those dispense items that Unit Dose users should not be able to select. Prior to installing an updated KIDS package, the site/region should have saved a backup of the build in a mail message using the Backup a Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option (this is done at time of install). The message containing the backed-up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at the Message Action prompt. The Packman function "INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE" is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA System. The back-out plan is to restore the build from the backup created. No data was modified by this patch. Validation of Back-out Procedure -------------------------------- The Back-out Procedure can be verified by confirming the checksums have been returned to the pre-patch value using CHECK1^XTSUMBLD. It can also be verified by printing the first two lines of the routine(s) contained in this patch using the option First Line Routine Print [XU FIRST LINE PRINT]. Once the routine(s) contained in this patch have been backed out, the second line of each routine will no longer contain the designation of patch PSS*1.0*266. Also, MARk/Unmark Dispense Drugs For Unit Dose [PSSJU MARK UD ITEMS] option will display routine PSGFILD3 instead of PSSGIU after the patch has been backed out: FileMan display from the OPTION (#19) file: NAME: PSSJU MARK UD ITEMS MENU TEXT: MARk/Unmark Dispense Drugs For Unit Dose TYPE: run routine CREATOR: xxxx, xxxx DESCRIPTION: This allows users to easily mark or unmark items from the Drug file (#50) for use by the Unit Dose Medications package.
