RG*1.0*75 and RG*1.0*77 are the only required builds for patch RG*1.0*78. NOTE: Do NOT install RG*1.0*78 on legacy sites or on the FORUM CLAIMS system. The Master Patient Index (MPI) has made enhancements to synchronize the Place of Birth (POB) information (City, State, Province and/or Country) down to VistA and to monitor the DG FIELD MONITOR PROTOCOL to ensure that our subscriber PROTOCOL VAFC MPIPD FIELD TRIGGER has NOT been removed. Enhancement #1 The Healthcare Identity Management (HC IdM) business office has requested that MPI now synchronize the POB information in Primary View (PV) by transmitting it down to VistA. Therefore, the Health Level Seven (HL7) Patient Identification (PID) segment processor in routine RGADTP1 has now been updated to parse the POB [City, State, Province and/or Country] information from the incoming HL7 message. Moreover, routine RGADTP3 has also been updated to store the parsed POB information in the corresponding POB fields (See Below) in the PATIENT (#2) file if a change to the existing stored value has been noted. Field Name Field Number ----------------------------------------- PLACE OF BIRTH [CITY] .092 PLACE OF BIRTH [STATE] .093 PLACE OF BIRTH COUNTRY .0931 PLACE OF BIRTH PROVINCE .0932 Enhancement #2 The HC IdM business office received incident ticket INC37176197 related to Sexual Orientation inconsistencies being seen in VistA. Upon further analysis it was ultimately determined that a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) DSS application installation had removed the child VAFC MPIPD FIELD TRIGGER protocol item from the parent DG FIELD MONITOR protocol that transmits/syncs PATIENT (File #2) field updates to the MPI. To ensure that MPI has visibility at the sites when this occurs, the MPI Daily Stat Report monitoring query process has been updated in routine RGMTMONT to now check whether the VAFC MPIPD FIELD TRIGGER is still attached to the DG FIELD MONITOR PROTOCOL (#101) and if missing return the following error to MPI: => VAFC MPIPD FIELD TRIGGER missing on DG FIELD MONITOR PROTOCOL.
