Problem: Need to update VS GUI with an alert or banner in VS GUI indicating that it will be decommissioned soon. Resolution: The VS GUI was updated to include an alert indicating that "VSE GUI will be sunset end of FY25; please use Integrated Scheduling Solution for VistA appointment scheduling" where "Integrated Scheduling Solution" is a hyperlink to ISS (https://staff.apps.domain.ext/iss/) 2) VSE-10315: VistA: When searching for a specific clinic in ISS, the user is unable to locate the clinic under "Clinic" search. Problem: When a clinic has been inactivated and a new clinic created with the same name, the logic for searching the clinic is not returning the clinics when searching by name. Logic needs to be changed to loop through the indexes on the name cross reference. Resolution: The logic supporting the clinic name search functionality for Integrated Scheduling Solution (ISS) was updated to handle instances where there are multiple clinics with the same name. 3) VSE-10344: VistA: Create a new version of SDES2 CREATE LETTER and SDES2 EDIT LETTER to allow for an array for both INITIAL SECTION and FINAL SECTION. Problem: An issue has been identified that prevents CCM UI from editing or creating a letter with more than one line of wording. Need to modify this to allow for an array to be added for both sections. Research showed that a third RPC, SDES2 DELETE LETTER, was also driven by the original routine and its code was copied to the new version. To keep things consistent and allow for future code deprecation, the SDES2 DELETE LETTER RPC Definition should be updated to point to the new routine. Resolution: The new SDES2 CREATE LETTER 2 and SDES2 EDIT LETTER 2 RPCs were created and will accept multiple lines of text. In addition, the existing SDES2 DELETE LETTER was updated to handle deleting multiples lines in the letter. 4) VSE-10316: VistA: Modify SDES CANCEL CLIN PRECAN LIST to return back patient telephone. Problem: To support CCM's need to display the patients telephone number we need to return the telephone number in the output of the SDES CANCEL CLIN PRECAN LIST RPC. Resolution: The SDES CANCEL CLIN PRECAN LIST RPC was updated to include the patient's telephone number in the retuned JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) object. 5) VSE-10363: VistA: User is receiving a 500 error when trying to reschedule a patient in ISS from a cancelled clinic. Problem: When trying to reschedule a patient in ISS from a cancelled clinic there is an error that comes up, so you cannot do anything in that patient chart. The issue is that the data in the comments have a control character included. Resolution: A post install routine will review all the appointments and remove any control characters in the NOTE (#1) and NOTE AUDITING (#1.1) fields.
