In the T1 build of that release, Central VistA Imaging Exchange (CVIX) was populating the TRACKING ID field (#108) of an ingested entry in the IMAGE file (#2005) with a new Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) in order to provide better traceability between CVIX transactions and VistA. Unfortunately, it was discovered during the IOC process that the Enterprise Site Report, which is an automated task that sends usage statistics to Imaging Enterprise, cannot process entries in the IMAGE file that have a TRACKING ID but no value in the ACQUISITION DEVICE field (#107). The value for that field is not required to ingest an image, and many (if not all) current users of the CVIX ingest service do not supply an ACQUISITION DEVICE. Because CVIX is used to ingest images nationwide, data could be affected at all sites, not just those that were IOC sites for MAG*3.0*358. Subsequent builds of MAG*3.0*358 have discontinued populating the TRACKING ID to prevent this issue. This patch will find all effected records and remove the TRACKING ID in order to allow the Enterprise Site Report to resume functioning. A future patch will revisit the TRACKING ID and the ability of the Enterprise Site Report to function without an ACQUISITION DEVICE. Defect (IMAG-4938) Fix Broken VistA report by removing TRACKING ID since no ACQUISITION DEVICE present. Problem: -------- The Enterprise Site Report crashes when it processes an image with a TRACKING ID set but no ACQUISITION DEVICE. Since the CVIX caller isn't providing CVIX with an ACQUISITION DEVICE to set, any that it sets a TRACKING ID on will crash the report. Resolution: ----------- Remove TRACKING ID from records ingested since MAG*3.0*358 went into IOC to allow the report to continue functioning. (Later builds of MAG*3.0*358 were also modified to no longer set the TRACKING ID, but this patch cleans up data that was already effected.)
