Problem: Currently, schedulers assign the WWII appt type to appts when applicable to patients, as this ensures that the patient is not charged a co-pay. If the patient has billable insurance, sites are receiving requests to change the appt type from WWII to Regular creating extra work for schedulers. Resolution: The WORLD WAR II entry in the APPOINTMENT TYPE (#409.1) file was updated to have the INACTIVE (#3) set to INACTIVE. 2) VSE-11345: VistA: SDES GET MISSION ACT AVAIL is returning back the system time offset for each return. Problem: During testing of ISS-10075 it was found that SDES GET MISSION ACT AVAIL was returning back the system time offset for each return. This needs to be modified to return back the start and end date with the clinic offset. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES GET MISSION ACT AVAIL Remote Procedure Call (RPC) was updated to return the start and end date with the clinic offset. 3) VSE-11433: VistA: Modify SDES2 PATIENT SEARCH to check for merged record. Problem: It was discovered that when there is a merged record, both the existing and the merged record for a patient is returned in the patient search. It was determined that this is the best place to make a change to prevent the merged record from appearing as a duplicate patient. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 PATIENT SEARCH was updated to not return the patient information if it is a merge record. 4) VSE-11440: VistA: Modify SDES2 GET CLINIC BY STOP CODE to not require primary stop code but make it optional. Problem: Modify SDES2 GET CLINIC BY STOP CODE to not require primary stop code but make it optional. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 GET CLINIC BY STOP CODE RPC was updated to allow the primary stop code input parameter to be optional. The RPC definition was also updated to the SDINPUT("PRIMARY STOP CODE",#) input parameter as being optional. 5) VSE-11448: VistA: Create a post install to report clinics that have default appointment type as WORLD WAR II assigned as a default. Problem: Need to create a post install to create a Report of Clinics that have WORLD WAR II as Default Appointment Type. The report includes Client IEN, Clinic Name and Default Appointment Type details. The report will be sent as MailMan message to Orlando, David and Lori to provide them the Clinic Report details. Resolution: The SDES930P post install will create a Report of Clinics that have WORLD WAR II as Default Appointment Type and will send the report to the Scheduling team on Forum for review. 6) VSE-11449: VistA: Update create clinic and edit clinic to validate the appointment type. Problem: Update SDES2VAL44 to validate the appointment type when called by SDES2 CREATE CLINIC & SDES2 EDIT CLINIC RPCs Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 CREATE CLINIC & SDES2 EDIT CLINIC RPCs was updated to return an error when an invalid/inactive appointment type was passed in. 7) VSE-11531: VistA: Modify SDES GET APPT BY APPT IEN to call SDES2 version of the get of the appointment object. Problem: An issue was reported with existing SDES GET APPT BY APPT IEN when the clinic has multiple appointments on the same day the logic is sometimes returning back the wrong Patient information (pulling up the wrong appointment). Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES GET APPT BY APPT IEN RPC was updated to call the existing SDES2 logic that builds the appointment logic. 8) VSE-11536: VistA: Modify SDES2 CREATE APPOINTMENT to correctly handle errors. Problem: During research of a Service Now ticket it was discovered that the logic within the SDES2CREATEAPPT is erroneously killing off the error variables before checking the variable for errors. Resolution: The logic supporting the SDES2 CREATE APPOINTMENT RPC was updated to report all validation error occurrences.
