A new option, ePharmacy Billing Parameters [BPS EPHARM BILLING PARAMS], is being created to allow the OPECC Supervisor to enable or disable third party billing functionality for Priority 8e/8g Veterans and Ineligible Patients. The parameters will default as 'NO' for each of these categories upon initial load of the software. New non-billable messages and comments will display on existing screens when an ePharmacy claim is not generated due to the parameter being set to 'NO' for the patient's category. Installation Instructions: -------------------------- 1. Use the Load a Distribution option contained on the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu to load the Host file. When prompted to "Enter a Host File:" enter /srv/vista/patches/SOFTWARE/BPS_1_42_PSO_IB.KID 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. From this menu, A. Select the Verify Checksums in Transport Global option to confirm the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter the patch or build name. (ex. BPS PSO IB BUNDLE 30.0) NOTE: Using will not bring up a Multi-Package build even if it was loaded immediately before this step. It will only bring up the last patch in the build. B. Select the Backup a Transport Global option. i. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter the build name. (ex. BPS PSO IB BUNDLE 30.0) ii. When asked to specify what to backup, select Build. iii. When prompted to Enter a Host File, select a name for the backup host file that is different than the build name for the patch. (ex.
