Description:

 This patch remediates the use of Social Security Number (SSN) in the 
 Veterans Personal Finance System (VPFS), per the VA Directive 6507
 Handbook (Reducing the use of Social Security Numbers). The VA Directive 
 6507 Handbook is the authoritative source requiring VA to reduce and,
 where possible, eliminate the collection and use of SSN as the primary
 unique identifier for Veterans, beneficiaries and employees. 
  
 1. The following VPFS reports currently displaying full SSN have been
    modified to display only the last four digits of the SSN, and the 
    patient's Date of Birth has been added to each report as an additional 
    patient identifier:
  
     - Deceased Patient with a Balance Report 
     - Discharged Patient with a Balance Report 
     - Dormant Account Listing Report 
     - Indigent Patient Listing Report 
     - Min and Max Restrictions Report 
     - Negative Balance Report 
     - Overdue Restriction Search Report 
     - Patient Listing Report 
     - Patient Summary Report 
  
 2. The VPFS landing page containing the full SSN has also been remediated
    by masking the first 5 digits of the SSN and adding a new column
    containing the patient's Date of Birth.
