A standardized comment text is filed. This ensures only one active instance of a prescription exists in the two systems. New print and sort templates have been created and added to new menu options to perform the needed reports to verify all prescriptions have been discontinued. Two new security keys were created: Outpatient Pharmacy RX Cancel [EHM RX CANCEL] was created to access the Pharmacy Discontinue RX [EHM PHARMACY DISCONTINUE RX] menu option found under the EHM MAIN MENU [EHM MAIN MENU] menu option, locked by the EHM MGR security key. Outpatient Pharmacy Disc RX [EHM DISCONTINUE] was created to access the Discontinue RX for EHRM Data Migration (Automated) [EHM CANCEL RX (AUTOMATED)] and Discontinue RX for EHRM Data Migration (Manual) [EHM CANCEL RX (MANUAL)] options under the Pharmacy Discontinue RX [EHM PHARMACY DISCONTINUE RX] menu option.
