VISTARBM-2488 508 issue - on BR patient there is an unidentified line separator that receives focus Problem: ----------- The empty patients panel receives a tab index even if it shouldn't be displayed yet. Technical Problem: ------------------ The patients panel is displayed and cannot be completely removed even though no query has happened yet. Resolution: ----------- If there has been no query yet, then the patients panel will have a tab index of -1. This will effectively hide the panel until a query is performed. 4. VISTARBM-2493 508 issue - Print Individual Records - Eye Exam report is not accessible for Jaws Problem: ----------- The user cannot capture the focus on the report custom component and read through the report when they are navigating the screen Technical Problem: ------------------ The JASPER reports do not have a "Tab Index" attribute. Resolution: ----------- Add a "Tab Index" attribute to the JASPER reports to make it focusable for the user. 5. VISTARBM-2496 508 issue - Interactive elements have insufficient focus indicator Problem: ----------- Colors in navigation bar are too close together between no-hover, hover, and text. Technical Problem: ------------------ Colors in navigation bar are too close together between no-hover, hover, and text. Resolution: ----------- Changed hover background color to be darker and hover text to be lighter for better contrast. 6. VISTARBM-2491 508 issue - Application Help - user is given incorrect keystrokes to navigate Help Problem: ----------- JAWS is specifying users to use arrow keys to navigate. Technical Problem: ------------------ There is no build within the code that allows arrow keys to dictate the functionality of menu items. Resolution: ----------- Build a process that will allow users to use arrow keys to navigate menu items. 7. VISTARBM-2494 508 issue - Help menu does not provide correct instructions for Jaws user Problem: ----------- JAWS does not recognize that certain attributes can be expanded Technical Problem: ------------------ The tree structure is not properly set for JAWS to read. Resolution: ----------- Align application tree structure with JAWS so it knows when attributes can be expanded.
