This release was developed as part of the Medical Care Collection Fund (MCCF) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transaction Application Suite (TAS) project. This patch contains the following functionality: --------------------------------------------------------- 1. The system is being updated to support ECL and NCPDP field updates as prescribed by the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) Implementation Guide versions published through October 2021. 2. The system is being updated so that E UNSTRANDED transactions will be reflected on the No Touch Report as 'manual' transactions. This update includes the use of a post-install routine which is detailed in the Pre/Post Installation Overview of this document. 3. Logic is being added to ensure the 'Closed By' user information, within BPS Claims, is correct when a claim is closed via the CLO or REV action. This information is reflected on the Closed Claims report and the Billing Events report. 4. The system is being updated to prevent OPECCs from being able to resubmit an unreleased, auto-reverse claim. The resubmit actions, within ECME User Screen, will display a message if an unreleased, auto-reverse claim is selected for resubmission. The ECME User Screen actions being updated are RES (Resubmit Claim) and RER (Resubmit Claim w/o Reversal). The post-install routine will loop through all transactions that have been processed for the No Touch Report. For transactions with a Payer Response status of E UNSTRANDED, the MCCF EDI TAS Progress Flag will be set to 1, placing the transaction back into the queue for reprocessing.
