CPRS now displays a patient's COVID-19 status in a banner visible on any CPRS tab as shown below.
In the example above, the banner shows that the patient is positive for COVID-19 and the date.
However, if you are in an organization that has migrated to a new EHR, the COVID-19 Identifier banner will be repurposed as a New EHR banner, and will look like the screenshot below:
The messages will be pulled from the function finding found text in the reminder definition linked to the banner. These messages will change as the reminder definition is updated. The status document will be found on the following page:
There are three error messages that users could see instead of a status.
Non-existent patient
No reminder definition is defined
Reminder evaluation failure, status: <error text>
If you see one of these error messages, please record the patient name and call the help desk for assistance.
