Resolution: ----------- This patch accomplished this by updating the version of Delphi to 12. 2) INC34777869 - Durham Shift Handoff Tool Preference Deleted by Mistake Problem: -------- While recreating the issue of lost preferences was not possible, the problem has been identified that the GUI application allows description fields to be longer in length than the VistA file system allows/is defined to accept. The VistA definition has the field lengths at a maximum 30 characters, while the GUI application does not limit the size. When the data is sent via an RPC call to the VistA system, it causes issues when the data is filed/saved, preferences may not be saved, or may be saved incorrectly. One bad entry could cause all the entries to not be saved, and other previous entries could be overwritten. Resolution: ----------- The GUI now limits the amount of text that can be entered in these fields to 30 characters as designed. 3) INC35248462 - Shift handoff tool V1.0.11.2 scroll bar defaults to the bottom instead of the top of the scroll bar Problem: -------- If any of the 4 definable temporary fields contain more data than can fit in their list box, a scroll bar appears. The list will default to the end when the Patient Data form is closed and re-opened instead of defaulting to the top of the list as it did in previous versions of the application. Resolution: ----------- The application has been modified to reset the 4 temporary fields to always start at the top of the list when the form is loaded. Technical Resolution: --------------------- Those 4 temporary fields are RichEdit Components in Delphi. In Delphi 11, those components default behaviors were changed, causing the error reported. Code has been entered to move the list to the top each time the form is displayed/shown. 4) VISTASHT-94 - VASI 1591 - Shift Handoff Tool Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) issue Problem: -------- When a user signs onto Shift Handoff Tool, the application may cause a SAML issue that fails digital signature authorization. Resolution: ----------- By updating the Shift Handoff Tool to Delphi 12 and using the latest Broker Development Kit (BDK) the signature will no longer fail. The Shift Handoff Tool application itself was not causing the issue, it was the RPC connection within the BDK that was. Test Sites: ----------- Durham VA Medical Center (Durham, NC) James J.
