Pre-Installation Instructions ----------------------------- 1. Download the HIGH_RISK_MH_1_0.KID file from the appropriate FTP Server to the directory on your system. 2. Use LOAD A DISTRIBUTION option on the KIDS INSTALLATION menu, and enter: [DIR]:HIGH_RISK_MH_1_0.KID, where [DIR] is the local directory where you have stored the host file. 3. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System Menu, select the Installation Menu. From this menu, you may elect to use the following option. When prompted for the INSTALL enter the patch HIGH_RISK_MH_1_0.KID: a. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not backup any other changes such as Data Dictionaries or templates. b. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will allow you to view all changes that will be made when this patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch (routines, Data Dictionaries, templates, etc.). c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global. 4. From the Installation Menu, select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch to install. 5. When prompted 'Do you want to update the Parameter Definition at This time? YES//' Answer YES (if the correct value is available) 6. When prompted 'Enter the Local Patient Record Flag that you are using as your Suicide Prevention flag. Local Flag: HIGH RISK FOR SUICIDE Replace' Press enter if the default is correct. Otherwise enter '...' and enter the correct value at the 'With' prompt. 7.
