Modify existing RPC for VIA Project ASSOCIATED REMEDY: ================== 1.) INC000001055166 - Modify existing RPC for VIA Project ASSOCIATED NSR: =============== N/A TEST SITES: =========== Test waiver obtained Remedy Overview: ================ 1.) INC000001055166 - Modify existing RPC for VIA Project Problem: -------- The VistA integration Adaptor (VIA) project requires access to certain Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs) that are part of the REGISTRATION package. The purpose of this patch is to publish one additional RPC allowing access for use by VIA by setting the field APP PROXY ALLOWED field (#.11) of the REMOTE PROCEDURE file (#8994) to YES. This patch deals specifically with the VAFCTFU CONVERT ICN TO DFN RPC. Resolution: ----------- The APP PROXY ALLOWED (#.11) field in the REMOTE PROCEDURE (#8994) file is held in global ^XWB(8994), in the 11th piece of the ^XWB(8994,IEN,0) node (Where: IEN = internal number for Remote Procedure Call). This field must be set to "Allowed" if this RPC is to be run by an APPLICATION PROXY user. The default is to NOT allow access. The RPC for VAFCTFU CONVERT ICN TO DFN needs to have the above field set to "Allowed", as part of the VIA project.
