NUMBER: 61 NAME: MISSING PHONE NUMBER DATA TEXT: PHONE NUMBER INFORMATION INCOMPLETE KEY REQUIRED: NO KEY REQUIRED SET ELIG DR STRING: NO CHECK/DON'T CHECK: DON'T CHECK USE FOR Z07 CHECK: NO DESCRIPTION: Inconsistency results if the patient's Employment Status is EMPLOYED FULL TIME, EMPLOYED PART TIME, or SELF EMPLOYED and the PHONE NUMBER [WORK] has not been entered. EHRM Impact Statement: ---------------------- This patch should have no EHRM impact, and can be installed at all sites, including EHRM converted sites. This resulted in VistA users receiving an inconsistency warning for a missing work phone number when the VistA PHONE NUMBER [WORK] field had not been populated. When a VistA user attempts to correct the inconsistency through the Data Consistency process, the phone number is prompted and forced into the PHONE NUMBER [WORK] field without passing through the normal address and phone number validation process, therefore bypassing the triggers that would transmit the value back to VES. Resolution: ----------- DG*5.3*1153 changes the Consistency Check #61 to "DON'T CHECK" and will remove the ability to update this field from the Consistency Check process, eliminating the problem.
