 Logical Link.  This patch includes one step requiring access to 
 programmer mode (retrieval of a parameter value).  All other steps 
 require access to HL7 Main Menu [HL MAIN MENU].

 This patch is a follow-on patch to DG*5.3*1005.
  
  
 The HL7 logical link used to communicate with the regional router for a 
 site is not automatically started (autostart). The autostart feature 
 should be enabled for this link, and this informational patch contains 
 instructions for enabling autostart.

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENABLING LOGICAL LINK:
  
 1. As a preliminary step, get the name of the HL7 logical link to your 
 regional router by executing the following command in programmer mode:
  
 DAYTSHR>W $$GET^XPAR("SYS","DG PRF REGIONAL ROUTER",1)
 e.g. DGVDFRR11
  
 One of the following Logical Links will be returned:  DGVDFRR11, 
 DGVDFRR12, DGVDFRR2, DGVDFRR3, DGVDFRR41, DGVDFRR42. For purposes of 
 these installation steps, DGVDFRR11 is used as an example throughout the 
 rest of the steps.
  
 2. Go to the menu HL7 Main Menu [HL MAIN MENU]:
  
  
           Event monitoring menu ...
           Systems Link Monitor
           Filer and Link Management Options ...
           Message Management Options ...
           Interface Developer Options ...
           Site Parameter Edit
  
  
 3. Choose Filer and Link Management Options [HL MENU FILER LINK MGT]:
  
  
    SM     Systems Link Monitor
    FL     Monitor, Start, Stop Filers
    LM     TCP Link Manager Start/Stop
    SA     Stop All Messaging Background Processes
    RA     Restart/Start All Links and Filers
    DF     Default Filers Startup
    SL     Start/Stop Links
    PI     Ping (TCP Only)
    ED     Link Edit
    ER     Link Errors ...
  
 4. Use the System Link Monitor [HL MESSAGE MONITOR] to check the status 
 of your link (identified in step 1). If it is in a Shutdown state, skip to
 step 6.

 5. If the link is running, use Start/Stop Links [HL START] to stop the 
 link:

 The LLP was last started on SEP 01, 2020 17:07:20.
  
 Okay to shut down this job? YES
 The job for the (e.g. DGVDFRR11) Lower Level Protocol will be shut down.
  
 6. Use Link Edit [HL EDIT LOGICAL LINKS] to edit the link. A Screen 
 Manager form will open when the name of the link is entered:

 7. Look at the AUTOSTART field, if it reads Enabled, skip to step 9.
  
 8. Navigate down to the AUTOSTART field and enter "1" (without the 
 quotes). The field should then read Enabled:

 9. Navigate down to COMMAND and type "S" (without the quotes) for Save, 
 then type "E" (without the quotes) for Exit.
  
 10. Hit <Enter> to return to the menu.
  
 11. Use Start/Stop Links [HL START] to start the link (e.g., 
 DGVDFRR11):
  
 Select Filer and Link Management Options <TEST ACCOUNT> Option: sl  
 Start/Stop Links
  
 This option is used to launch the lower level protocol for the
 appropriate device.  Please select the node with which you want
 to communicate
  
 Select HL LOGICAL LINK NODE: DGVDFRR11  
 The LLP was last shutdown on SEP 04, 2020 12:41:21.
 This LLP has been enabled!
  
  
 The link is now running and it will start automatically when HL7 is 
 started, or if the option Restart/Start All Links and Filers [HL 
 TASK RESTART] is used.
