INC12703996 Z11 error due to "Date of death can not be a future date" Problem: -------- When comparing the Date of Death with the current date during the validation process from an incoming Z11 message, the date gets rejected with an error message, "Date of Death cannot be a future date". The issues occurs when the Date of Death for inpatients contains date and time, e.g., 3201028.0701. The code compares the Date of Death to the current date format (variable DT), which does not include time, e.g., 3201028. Resolution: ----------- Modified routine DGENPTA1 to change variable DT to $$NOW^XLFDT to reflect current date/time and properly handle the Date of Death as it comes in from the Z11 HL7 message.
