Problem: -------- The Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) HINQ menu options will need to be marked out of order and the ability to submit HINQ requests will be disabled. Resolution: ----------- In order to prevent HINQ requests, the patch will modify routines that submit the actual request or queue the request in a suspense file. Routines to be modified are as follows: DVBHQZ4, DVBHQDL, and DVBHQUT. New post-init routine, DVB471P, was created to dequeue the Process the HINQ Suspense File [DVB HSUSP-PROCESSFILE] task, as well as remove the HINQ on Admission [DVB ADMISSION HINQ] protocol from the MOVEMENT EVENTS v 5.0 [DGPM MOVEMENT EVENTS] protocol list. The PackMan function INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE is then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA system.
