Description:

 The purpose of this informational patch description is to announce the 
 emergency release of Enrollment System (ES) 5.8.0.16001. This release, 
 developed in Java technology, contains Enrollment System Modernization 
 (ESM) Phase 2 development and upgrade efforts, including defect fixes to 
 support Enrollment System Community Care (ESCC) and ES Sustainment.
  
 This software is being installed at AITC and no action is required by the 
 sites.
  
 ES 5.8.0.16001 was successfully deployed on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019.
  
 The following functionality is updated in this ES 5.8.0.16001 release:
  
 A production defect, caused by ES 5.8, in which deletion of work/business
 phone number was being sourced by VistA and propagated to VET360 and 
 subsequently to Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is fixed. The non-
 VistA-specific phones including work phone are removed from the DELETE 
 list.
