Description:

 The purpose of this informational patch description is to announce the 
 release of the Enrollment System (ES) 5.19.1. This release, developed in
 Java technology, contains Enrollment System Modernization (ESM) Phase 3
 development and upgrade efforts. This release includes enhancements to
 support Enrollment System Community Care (ESCC) and ES Sustainment.
  
 This software is being installed at the Austin Information Technology 
 Center (AITC) and no action is required by the sites.
  
 ES 5.19.1 was successfully deployed on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
  
 The following functionality is updated in this ES 5.19.1 release:
  
 ESM: 
 ES is enhanced to include the annual Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
 updates for 2021.
  
 Sustainment Defect Fixes:
 VES-19208 User interface attended search is being issued as unattended.

 VES-19208  Problem: Trait search from the user interface (UI) is being
            issued to Master Person Index (MPI) in unattended mode; this
            is causing "not found" search results to be returned when the
            date of birth is unknown, and creation of duplicate records 
            due to the "not-found" response. 
  
            Resolution: Updated code for UI trait search to signify 
            attended search mode.
