  Problem:

  A request was made by the Managerial Cost Accounting Office (MCAO) to
  update the SHORT DESCRIPTION (#1) field of nine existing entries in the
  NATIONAL CLINIC (#728.441) file.
  
  
  Resolution:

  Routine ECX3P172 has been created to update the NATIONAL CLINIC 
  (#728.441) file by modifying the SHORT DESCRIPTION (#1) field of
  nine existing entries effective 4/1/2019.
  
  The descriptions of the following entries have changed:

 You may install this patch at any time without interruption to users. It
 should take less than 2 minutes to install this patch.
  
  
 Pre-Installation Instructions:
 ------------------------------
 Prior to install this patch, backup file ^ECX(728.441) using your site's 
 policy for backing up data.
  
 If the steps are unknown, please follow the following procedures:
  
    1. Go to a command prompt.
    2. At the prompt, enter D ^%GOGEN.
    3. At the device prompt, enter the directory and file name where the 
       global backup is to be stored.
    4. At the Parameter? prompt, press <enter>.
    5. At the Global prompt, enter ^ECX(728.441
    6. Verify that the file was created and exists in the directory 
       specified.
  
  
 Installation Instructions:
 --------------------------
     1. Choose the PackMan message containing this patch.
     
     2. Choose the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option.
     
     3. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System Menu, select the
        Installation Menu. From this menu, you may select to use the
        following options. When prompted for the INSTALL NAME, enter
        the patch ECX*3*172:
           a. Verify Checksums in Transport Global - This option will allow
              you to ensure the integrity of the routines that are in the
              transport global.
           b. Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view
              the components of the KIDS build.
           c. Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will
              allow you to view all changes that will be made when this 
              patch is installed. It compares all components of this patch
              (routines, DD's, templates, etc.).
           d. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup
              message of any routines exported with this patch. It will not
              backup any other changes such as DD's or templates.
     
      4. From the Installation Menu, select the Install Package(s) option
         and choose the patch to install.
    
      5. When Prompted "Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install?
         NO//" respond NO.
     
      6. When Prompted "Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options,
         and Protocols? NO//" respond NO.
  
   ** 7. During install, verify that all entries were added successfully.
         If an error is displayed, please create a ticket.  
   
      8. You may delete the routine ECX3P172 from your production system 
         after the patch has been successfully verified.

    4. At the Parameter? prompt, press <enter>.
    5. At the 'Transfer entire set of files? No=>', type 'Yes'.
    6. At the From global prompt, enter ^ECX(728.441
    7. At the To global ^ECX(728.441=>, enter ^ECX(728.441
    8. At the OK to transfer? Yes=> prompt, select Yes.
