Problem: -------- When adding vitals to a patient in EDIS the timestamp always displays central time regardless of where the site is located. This is because EDIS currently uses the time zone from the web server which is located in the central time zone. Resolution: ---------- The current time was passed from the web server to VistA using Java's date/time method which would then store that value in VistA. Now the application does not use the Java date/time but instead uses VistA's $$NOW^XLFDT Application Programming Interface (API) call which will provide the time at that selected site. Additionally, the time zone stamp on the vitals was also removed because there is no mechanism currently for EDIS to know what time zone the selected site belongs to. Please note that this patch will only remove the time zone stamp in the EDIS vitals section and will not fix the incorrect time until the corresponding EDIS VistA patch EDP*2*42 is also installed. 2) EDIS-1348: INC39251650 - Tracking Code does not update in VistA. Problem: -------- When changing the name of the Status in EDIS under Configure > Selections > Status, the name updates in the Selections page and on the Clinical Practice Environment (CPE) screen. The new name of the Status does not update in the TRACKING CODE file (#233.1). The new name is also not visible in the Configure > Colors page. This appears to be an issue with all tracking codes -- dispositions, delays, etc. Also, the Flags field is enabled for National Statuses and Dispositions under Configure > Selections. This misleads the user into thinking these flags can be edited. Resolution: ----------- The Alert message was updated with the following sentence when changes are made under Configure "You may have to re-login for changes to appear." The Flags text field for National Statuses and Dispositions is now disabled. The name update issue will be fully corrected when the corresponding EDIS VistA patch, EDP*2*42, is installed. 3) EDIS-1409: INC39522693 - Incorrect calculations on Waiting Room Display Board. Problem: -------- The Waiting Room Display board does not provide users a way to understand where the time value for the "Estimated wait time for most patients to see a provider" field is calculated from. This leads some providers to question the authenticity of the time provided. Resolution: ----------- Added a pop-up box to the Waiting Room Board which shows the patient information used in the calculations for the board.
