$TXT Created by T at CLE623.FO-BAYPINES.DOMAIN.EXT (KIDS) on Monday, 01/27/25 at 06:10 ============================================================================= Run Date: JUL 15, 2025 Designation: GMRC*3*205 Package : GMRC - CONSULT/REQUEST TRACKING Priority: Mandatory Version : 3 SEQ #171 Status: Released Compliance Date: JUL 25, 2025 ============================================================================= Associated patches: (v)GMRC*3*201 <<= must be installed BEFORE `GMRC*3*205' Subject: CANCEL APPOINTMENT NOTICE/NAK PROCESSING Category: - Routine Description: ============ 1. Prior to this patch, when an appointment was cancelled by a non-converted VistA acting as filler for an IFC placed by a converted site, the reason code and description in ORC-16 contained "R" and "RECEIVE", respectively. GMRC*3*205 changed the code and description to be "U" and "UNSCHEDULED", respectively. 2. When an appointment is cancelled by a converted site acting as filler for an IFC placed by a non-converted VistA site, this patch posts a comment to the ACTIVITY multiple (#40) of the REQUEST/CONSULTATION file (#123) stating that the appointment has been cancelled. 3. When an appointment is cancelled by a converted site acting as filler for an IFC placed by a non-converted VistA site, this patch sets the last action taken field (#9) in the REQUEST/CONSULTATION file (#123) to STATUS CHANGE. 4. When an order originating at a converted site (placer) cannot be processed by the non-converted VistA (filler), VistA now sends comments indicating that the order has been rejected to the placer site in an HL7 message. 5. Prior to this patch, if a non-converted VistA received an HL7 order- related message from a converted site but had not yet received the Cerner order number, VistA rejected the message with error code 101 (Unknown Consult/Procedure request). GMRC*3*205 extracts the Cerner order number from the incoming HL7 message and posts it to the consult and then processes the HL7 message.
