Setting an Abnormal Values range

Abnormal Values are values outside the normal range for a vital type. You can define the normal range by setting high and low values for each vital type: when a user enters a vital or measurement outside the normal range, the data will be identified as an abnormal value in the data table.

To set Normal/Abnormal Value ranges:

  1. In the main Vitals Manager window, double-click the Abnormal Values folder. A list of vital types displays below the folder.

  2. Click a vital type. High and Low values for that vital type are displayed on the right side of the window.

  3. Click and drag the slider bars to set a new high or low value, or type a value in the boxes at the bottom of the sliders. Note: If you type in a value, click in an area outside the text box to update the slider bars.

  4. Click the Save Abnormal Values button at the top of the window to save changes.
