It will also add data for the File/Fields being standardized for Pharmacy Data Management to the HDIS File/Field file (#7115.6) and File/Field multiple in the HDIS Domain file (#7115.1). These entries are being added to the files for VHA Unique Identifier (VUID) Seeding which is part of standardizing the Pharmacy Data Management files associated with the Pharmacy Data Management Domain. This data is also part of the Domain standardization process. Patch PSS*1.0*129 will actually invoke the standardization VUID Seeding. This patch is just in preparation for the Pharmacy Data Management patch. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: ========================== This patch can be installed with users on the system with installation taking less than 10 minutes. Note: The following is a list of REQUIRED builds for HDI*1.0*8. KIDS will not allow the installation of this patch without the prior installation of them. HDI*1.0*6 1. Use the INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE option on the PackMan menu. [Note: TEXT PRINT/DISPLAY option in the PackMan menu will display the patch text only.] 2. From the Kernel Installation and Distribution System Menu, select the Installation menu. 3. From this menu, you may elect to use the following options (when prompted for INSTALL NAME, enter HDI*1.0*8): a. Backup a Transport Global b. Compare Transport Global to Current System c. Verify Checksums in Transport Global d. Print Transport Global 4. Use the Install Package(s) option and select the package HDI*1.0*8. 5. When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? YES//', respond NO. 6. When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options, and Protocols? YES//', respond NO. 7. Routine HDI1008A may be deleted after successful installation of this patch.
