       INC19606059 - Please investigate the following VistA errors for CMS 
  
    Problem:
    --------
    An undefined error occurs because the DUZ array is not being set 
    correctly due to a false IF statement evaluation.
     
    Resolution:
    -----------
    Modified routine HLCSTCP4 to move the DUZ^XUP call, which sets up  
    the DUZ array elements, out of the dot structure of the IF statement,
    ensuring that the array is set up properly.
  
 2) INC20814457- <UNDEFINED>SF+14~HLTPCK1A *HLNK
    
    Problem:
    --------
    An undefined error occurs because the HLNK variable, in the 
    HLTPCK1A routine, is not being instantiated due to the domain name
    not being found in the DOMAIN (#4.2) file "B" cross reference.
    This is caused by the domain name being more than 30 characters
    where the "B" cross references NAME (#.01) field has a limit of 30
    characters.
  
    Resolution:
    -----------
    Modified routine HLTPCK1A to extract only the first 30 characters
    in the domain name to ensure the domain will be found in the
    DOMAIN (#4.2) file "B" cross reference and then check the 
    resulting Internal Entry Number (IEN) against the DOMAIN (#4.2) 
    file IEN to ensure the correct domain has been selected.

 This patch may be installed with users on the system, although it is
 recommended that it be installed during non-peak hours to minimize
 potential disruption to users. This patch should take less than 5 minutes
 to install.
  
 The HL7 incoming/outgoing filers should be stopped. Stop All Messaging
 Background Processes by using the [HL STOP ALL] option on the Filer
 and Link Management Options [HL MENU FILER LINK MGT] menu on the
 HL7 Main Menu [HL MAIN MENU].
  
    Note:
    -----
    Routine HLCSTCP4 will display an XINDEX error when installing
    this patch.  This is current functionality and the XINDEX error has
    been allowed by the Standards and Conventions Committee
    exemption 20200824-01.
  
 Installation Instructions:
 --------------------------
 1. Choose the PackMan message containing this build. Then select the
 INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE PackMan option to load the build.
  
  
 2. From the Kernel Installation & Distribution System menu [XPD MAIN],
 select the Installation menu. From this menu, 
  
     A. Select the Verify Checksums in Transport Global option to confirm 
        the integrity of the routines that are in the transport global.
        When prompted for the INSTALL NAME enter the patch or build name
        HL*1.6*174.
  
     B. Backup a Transport Global - This option will create a backup
        message of any routines or the entire build exported
        with this patch. When prompted for a response, select Routines:
                  
                 Select one of the following:
  
                     B         Build (including Routines)
                     R         Routines Only
  
                 Enter response: Routines Only
  
     C. You may also elect to use the following options: 
          i.  Print Transport Global - This option will allow you to view
              the components of the KIDS build.
         ii.  Compare Transport Global to Current System - This option will
              allow you to view all changes that will be made when this
              patch is installed.  It compares all of the components of
              this patch, such as routines, DDs, templates, etc.
  
     D. Select the Install Package(s) option and choose the patch to 
        install. 
   
        i.  When prompted 'Want KIDS to INHIBIT LOGONs during the install? 
            NO//',answer NO
   
       ii.  When prompted 'Want to DISABLE Scheduled Options, Menu Options,
            and Protocols? NO//', answer NO

 Prior to installing the updated KIDS package, the installer should have 
 saved a backup of the routines in a mail message using the Backup a 
 Transport Global [XPD BACKUP] menu option. The message containing the 
 backed up routines can be loaded with the "Xtract PackMan" function at
 the Message Action prompt.  The PackMan function INSTALL/CHECK MESSAGE is 
 then used to install the backed up routines onto the VistA system.
