The primary goal of this enhancement is the continued preparation of the AR software module for the implementation of further changes required by the Maintaining Internal Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks (MISSION) Act. The second goal of this enhancement is to increase timeliness and collections of billable Non-Veterans Affairs (VA) care services. Enhancements to existing VistA IB, AR, and Fee software applications would allow for increased efficiency in workflow processes leading to best practices that would ultimately be reflected in improved customer service to our Veteran population. In order to meet these goals, this patch: 1. Allows the Urgent Care (UC) Visit Tracking Database to be updated with a Visit Only Urgent Care Visit if the IB CANCEL/EDIT/ADD option detects that a higher medical copay was previously entered for the same patient on the same day. 2. Displays a list of valid Cancellation Reasons to the user if the user was trying to Cancel an UC copay in IB CANCEL/EDIT/ADD using an IB CHARGE REMOVE REASON (#350.3) that is not allowed to cancel an Urgent Care copayment. 3. Updates the IBUC MULTI FAC COPAY PULL REQ option to display a message to the user if the UC Visit Tracking data pull is successfully completed at other sites. 4. Allows the IB CANCEL/EDIT/ADD option to cancel a previously existing medical copay if the new copay has a higher copay amount. 5. Adds a filter to prevent inactive Cancellation Reasons in the IB CHARGE REMOVE REASON file (#350.3) from displaying when a user types ?? for a list of valid cancellation reasons. 6. Allows the IB - SINGLE PATIENT MT PROFILE option to display charges that occur on the end date of the user defined date range.
