The primary goal of this enhancement is to cancel all medical copayments for Veterans for care received during the Pandemic Emergency period, defined as April 6, 2020 through September 30, 2021 as required by Section 8007 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. In order to meet these goals, this patch: 1. Modifies the IB MT NIGHT COMP to review the 1st Party charges from the previous day, and, if the charges are Medical Copays or Medical Cost Shares (TRICARE or CHAMPVA), and they are in a ON HOLD, BILLED, HOLD-RATE, HOLD-REVIEW, or INCOMPLETE status, they are cancelled. 2. Starts a one time review of the 1st Party copays already entered as charges in Integrated Billing during the Pandemic Emergency period and cancels the charges using the same criteria as the IB MT NIGHT COMP process. In addition, you may see the following message appear multiple times during the installation if you do not choose to queue the install: This repayment plan has been closed and is PAID IN FULL.
