The goal of this enhancement is to increase timeliness and collections of billable Non-Veterans Affairs (VA) care services. Enhancements to the existing VistA IB and AR software applications would allow for increased efficiency in workflow processes leading to best practices that would ultimately be reflected in improved customer service to our Veteran population. In order to meet these goals, this patch: 1. Creates a new Report, called the INDIAN ATTESTATION COPAY EXEMPTION REPORT, which identifies Medical, Pharmay, and/or Non-Institutional Long Term Care copayments that may be cancelled. 2. Adds a new Cancellation Reason, called INDIAN ATTESTATION, to the IB CHARGE REMOVE REASON file (#350.3). 3. Updates IB CANCEL/EDIT/ADD to prevent copayments when a Veteran is a Native American Veteran. 4. Prevents FPINPT1+9^IBEFURF errors from occurring when running the RCDP CLAIMS MATCH option.
