IVM*2.0*152 (Income Verification Match) is being released along with DG*5.3*851 (Registration) in host file: DG_53_P851.KID It is imperative that these patches be installed no later than the compliance date. Your understanding and support is appreciated. ************************************************************************** The Health Eligibility Center (HEC) requested modifications to the Enrollment System Redesign (ESR) and VistA Registration, Enrollment and Eligibility (Vista REE) software to support the requirements of the Permanent Address Verification project. This patch modifies the Income Verification Match (IVM) v2.0 application as described below: 1. Modify the Z07 HL7 message builder -------------------------------------- The process to construct the Z07 HL7 message that transmits patient data to ESR was modified to support the transmission of change date/time, change site and change source data for the patient's home phone number. This information will be transmitted in the RF1 segment with the new PHH referral type. 2. Modify the Z05 HL7 message upload ------------------------------------- The process to upload data from the Z05 HL7 message sent from ESR was modified to handle the new PHH referral type in the RF1 segment which transmits the change date/time, change site and change source data for the patient's home phone number. The home phone number will not be uploaded unless the incoming phone number is different than the one in the patient's record and the change date/time in the incoming Z05 message is more recent than the change date/time in the patient's record. 3. Modify the Demographic Upload option ---------------------------------------- The Demographic Upload [IVM UPLOAD DEM] option was modified to include the new date/time stamp fields associated with the patient's PHONE NUMBER [RESIDENCE] field #.131 in the PATIENT file (#2). The new fields being added are: RESIDENCE NUMBER CHANGE DT/TM field #.1321 RESIDENCE NUMBER CHANGE SOURCE field #.1322 RESIDENCE NUMBER CHANGE SITE field #.1323 Patch Components: ================= Files & Fields Associated: -------------------------- N/A Forms Associated: ----------------- N/A Mail Groups Associated: ----------------------- N/A Options Associated: ------------------- N/A Protocols Associated: --------------------- N/A Security Keys Associated: ------------------------- N/A Templates Associated: --------------------- N/A New Service Request (NSRs): --------------------------- N/A Patient Safety Issues (PSIs): ----------------------------- N/A Remedy Ticket(s) & Overview: ---------------------------- N/A Test Sites: ----------- Coatesville VAMC, PA Oklahoma City VAMC, OK San Francisco VAMC, CA VA Health Care Upstate New York, NY Documentation Retrieval Instructions: ===================================== Updated documentation describing the new functionality introduced by this patch is available.
