Description:

    Note:  This patch is released in support of decommissioning the HEC
           Legacy system.  IVM*2*156 is released along with EAS*1*96 (Enrollment
           Application System) in host file: EAS_1_P96.KID.
     
           It is imperative that these patches be installed no later than
           the compliance date.  Your understanding and support is
           appreciated.

 The Enrollment System (ES) became the official System of Record on 
 March 29, 2009. The Health Eligibility Center Legacy (HECL) system will 
 be decommissioned shortly after all sites have installed this suite of
 patches.  This patch will inactivate the HL7 protocols utilized for 
 messaging with the HECL.
  
 This patch addresses the following New Service Request (NSR):

 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
 =====================
 This patch will make changes to the IVM routines that will
 check and verify if the ORU-Z04 protocols are disabled before creating and
 transmitting HL7 data via an ORU-Z04 message.  Prior to the installation of
 this patch, the IVM routines did not check for the ORU-Z04 protocols to see
 if they are disabled.  Once this patch is installed, the routines will make
 the check and stop the transmission of data if the protocol is disabled.
