Patch IVM*2.0*190 is also being released in support of the Enrollment System (ES) 5.10 release. Refer to Informational Patch Enrollment Application System EAS*1*186 for additional details regarding the ES release. NOTE: IVM*2.0*190 is being released with DG*5.3*996 in Host File DG_53_P996.KID. IMPORTANT: The deployment will be a simultaneous rollout and facilities will have three (3) days to plan and to schedule installation of the software. The ES 5.10 release, deployed Saturday 2/15/2020, included an enhancement to allow entry of financial hardships directly in the national Enrollment System (ES). Prior to this enhancement, hardships could only be entered and approved in Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA). When a hardship is entered in ES, it will trigger an income test update (Health Level 7 (HL7) ORU-Z10 message type) to all correlated VistA site(s). This ensures that Veterans are placed in the appropriate enrollment priority and Veteran Medical Benefit Plan(s). In turn, this information is shared across the enterprise more quickly. With patch IVM*2.0*190, VistA Registration, Eligibility, & Enrollment (REE) will accept the hardship data from the HL7 ORU/ORF-Z10 message and process the incoming message in accordance with current processing. Patch IVM*2.0*190 also updates VistA REE to display a comment when the Hardship Effective Date from the HL7 ORU/ORF-Z10 message is earlier than the Means Test Date on file. Listing of Updates ================== This patch makes the following enhancements to VistA REE: When the Hardship Effective Date in the HL7 ORU/ORF-Z10 message is earlier than the Means Test Date on file, the following text is placed in the ANNUAL MEANS TEST (#408.31) file in the COMMENT (#50) field: Received/Uploaded Test on XXX XX, XXXX XX:XX:XX am/pm with data inconsistencies. : Hardship Effective Date earlier than Means Test Date Patch Components: ----------------- Files & Fields Associated: File Name (Number) Field Name (Number) New/Modified/Deleted ------------------ ------------------ -------------------- N/A Forms Associated: Form Name File Number New/Modified/Deleted --------- ----------- -------------------- N/A Mail Groups Associated: Mail Group Name New/Modified/Deleted --------------- -------------------- N/A Options Associated: Option Name Type New/Modified/Deleted ----------- ---- -------------------- N/A Protocols Associated: Protocol Name New/Modified/Deleted ------------- -------------------- N/A Security Keys Associated: Security Key Name ----------------- N/A Templates Associated: Template Name Type File Name (Number) New/Modified/Deleted ------------- ---- ------------------ -------------------- N/A Remote Procedures Associated: Remote Procedure Name New/Modified/Deleted --------------------- -------------------- N/A Parameter Definitions Associated: Parameter Name New/Modified/Deleted -------------- -------------------- N/A Additional Information: Blood Bank Team Coordination: ----------------------- N/A New Service Requests (NSRs): ----------------------- N/A Patient Safety Issues (PSIs): ----------------------- N/A Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: ----------------------- N/A Test Sites: ----------- Alaska VA Healthcare System, Anchorage, AK El Paso VA Health Care System, El Paso, TX Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, IL Software and Documentation Retrieval Instructions: -------------------------------------------------- The software for this patch is being released using a host file.
