Although it is a useful diagnostic, ^PERFMON should not be routinely running on any system. - The following will need to be done by a member of the Health Systems team (or someone with access to %SYS) on each system with the patch installed: o This step needs to be done on each server - each front-end, each back-end, and each failover member o From %SYS: D ^PERFMON o If you see "Monitor is Stopped" PERFMON is not running this step is complete o Otherwise, use 2. Stop Monitor to stop PERFMON - The following will need to be done by a member of the VAD Kernel team (or someone with access to file #8969). Note: This step needs to be done **after** the installation of KMP*4.0*1 but before midnight on the day of install. o Edit each of the VSM Configuration file (#8969) records and change/view the START PERFMON field (#1.08) o If the field is "False", this step is complete o Otherwise, Change the START PERFMON field (#1.08) set to False if this is not already the case. >> Do not proceed unless you are confident of these steps.
