Participating Test Sites: ========================= Puget Sound Health Care System Washington DC - VA Medical Center Defect Tracking System Ticket(s) & Overview: =========================================== CA-SDM R17009922FY18 - Lab Label Discrepancies Problem: ------- Under certain conditions, the lab order date variable (LRODT) can be improperly modified leading to skipped accession labels or an endless loop of duplicate accession labels. Resolution: ---------- The routine LRLABXOL is modified to save the proper value of LRODT and restore it properly after each label is generated. Routine: LRLABXOL CA-SDM I17092880FY18 - Result Verification Issue Problem: ------- If a user goes to enter, verify or modify Lab orders, when they attempt to approve it for release, if no initials have been stored in the New Person (#200) file for that user, when they are prompted to enter their initials and they leave the field blank and press "enter", the results will be verified, even though their initials are missing. Results should not be verified if no initials are entered during the resulting process. Resolution: ---------- Modify routines LRVER3 and LRVR3 to require that users enter initials in order to verify results. The modifications correct the issue for manual entry, instrumentation entry, and Laboratory Electronic Data Interchange (LEDI) entry of results. ==================== Installation Instructions ==================== This patch may be loaded with users on the system.
