LR*5.2*533 has been updated to "ENTERED IN ERROR". Upon release, two problems were discovered with the resolution for ticket INC8271427 ("Microbiology Unverified Results Display on Reports").
 
One problem occurred when users re-entered the Microbiology Results Entry option for an accession but did not proceed with adding a new entry into the "RPT DATE APPROVED" prompt. (Deleting the entry for this prompt during editing of an accession was implemented as a solution for ticket INC8271427. The change ensured that unverified results in the process of being edited would not be visible in CPRS.)
 
Accessions without an entry in the "RPT DATE APPROVED" prompt and which do have an entry in the "[test name] completed" prompt do not appear on the "Incomplete test status report". Laboratory personnel have no way of finding these accessions other than running a FileMan search. (A ticket to address this issue in the "Incomplete test status report is forthcoming in patch LR*5.2*536.)
 
The second problem occurred at sites which use a common accession area for Microbiology. For example, if an order is placed for both Bacteriology and Mycology, both the Bacteriology and Mycology tests are assigned to the Microbiology accession area. (The Mycology test is not defined with the Mycology accession area or as "unique accession = yes".) The resolution for ticket INC8271427 caused some information to not be displayed in CPRS reports for accessions which contained more than one Microbiology test.
 
A solution to address the second problem is currently being researched.
 
The other ticket in this patch - INC6251781: Microbiology Test Status Display Issue - will be moved to LR*5.2*536.
 
Sites are advised to back out all routines for LR*5.2*533 since the status is now "entered in error":
